Legal framework
The process is designed around Art. 330a of the Swiss Code of Obligations and the revised Swiss data protection act (revFADP): truthful, benevolent, complete and documented.

Access without a password.
Managers and employees don't need their own account: for their task (rate, sign, receive) they get a personal, secured link and work directly in the browser — on mobile too. Access is limited to their own reference and only while the task is open. HR signs in to the tool as usual.
Audit
Fully traceable.
Every step is documented in the tool: who rated, when it was sent back for revision, who signed when, when it was sent. Personnel changes are logged too — every change to personal data with timestamp, responsible person and before/after state. The status of every reference is visible at a glance — audit-proof and without email follow-ups.
